T.I. Feeling Some Type of Way After Rudy Giuliani Remarks

By  |

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards left many with  mixed reviews on its performances. However, some more negative than others. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani expressed his opinions on Beyonce’s latest performance at the VMAs. On Monday’s episode of  Fox & Friends, Giuliani labeled Beyonce’s set as “anti-police.” He goes on to say, “I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department. I saved more Black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime, and particularly homicide, by 75 percent — of which maybe 4,000 or 5,000 were African-American young people, who are all alive today because of the policies I put in effect that weren’t in effect for 35 years.”

But the Atlanta artist AINT with the shit!  T.I. had a few words for the former mayor. “Who gives a fuck what Rudy Giuliani says about music? Like who cares? He’s not an aficionado of music. This isn’t politics. He needs to worry about Trump’s campaign. You have to count against the Black lives he saved for the Black lives he destroyed by imprisoning people for too long and taking them away from his families and breaking up homes.”

I don’t know why these politicians continue to voice their concerns about things they really have no true understanding about. They fail to realize how much of the underlining problem they are rather than the solution. Giuliani “shut your dumb ass up!”
