Yesterday afternoon Reports that LeBron James is “frustrated and concerned” with the Cavs, specifically with team owner Dan Gilbert’s ability to assemble a roster that can better compete with the defending champion Golden State Warriors. At last night’s “Fashionable 50” event hosted by Sports Illustrated in Los Angeles, Kyrie Irving was asked by a Reporter, “How different could the Cavaliers team look in just a couple years,” considering the offseason the Cavs have had and LeBron’s upcoming free agency after the 2017-18 season.Kyrie, who is under contract with Cleveland for the next couple seasons, responded by saying the Cavs are in a very peculiar place.

“I understand we’re in a very peculiar place,” Irving told the magazine. “We just have to, you know, make sure that all our pieces are aligned first, and then we go from there. It’s the summer time, a lot of craziness going on in the NBA. Best to just observe and then see what happens, but obviously there are some things that I’m pretty sure our organization wants to do, and we’ll go from there.”

Since not winning to the Warriors in the NBA Finals, the Cavs have fired GM David Griffin, who LeBron publicly endorsed, and signed free agents Jeff Green, Jose Calderon and Turkish forward Cedi Osman.
